Director of Sales & Marketing Thailand
Our client is a 150+ room resort hotel in Thailand with 7 outlets and events space. As part of an international group, this is an exciting opportunity to join the team.
Reporting to the General Manager, the DOSM will be responsible for a team of about 15 across sales, marketing, e-commerce, revenue, and reservations.
Profile and Experience required:
- Demonstrable experience within the leisure and MICE segments
- Resort hotel experience
- Experienced in both sales and marketing
- Creative, thinks out of the box, capable of developing new approaches/tailor-made programmes
- Very strong on revenue and yield
- Understands the need to react in an ever-changing marketplace: aware of current and potential future trends regarding all aspects of the travel industry including booking patterns, and emerging markets e.g. developing business from Asia, especially China.
- Ideally, this person will have been at DOSM for at least two years, but a very experienced DOS who has strong leadership skills, the required leisure experience and a demonstrable involvement and understanding of marketing are welcome to apply.
- Willing to travel and be self-motivated, being the brand ambassador for the hotel and brand at all times
This is a local package, the company will offer a competitive net salary in line with the market and the candidate’s experience and expectations.
