HOCAPS supports both companies and individuals in the hospitality sector with staff recruitment and selection. What information do we collect about you?
We collect information about you when you register with us and submit your CV to us. We also collect information when you update us about your circumstances. We may also refer to information you have published about yourself on Internet websites which are open.

We use your information to find the best candidates for job opportunities. If you are of interest to a prospective employer, we may share your information with the prospective employer or their agent to help in short-listing candidates or arranging interviews.
When a suitable opportunity arises, speed is important. Please provide up to date telephone numbers and a personal email address so that we are able to alert you quickly, once you have given your consent for us to do so.
When we are in contact with you and you tell us about changes in your circumstances, we may update the information we hold about you.
Apart from the purpose of short-listing and interviews as described above, we do not share your information with any other organisation.

You have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you. If you would like a copy of some or all of your personal information, please email or write to us. We may make a small charge for this service.
We want to make sure that your personal information is accurate and up to date. You may ask us to correct or remove information you think is inaccurate.

How do we look after your information?
We store the personal information you have sent to us in a secure database which is backed up every night. We hold a copy of CV pages you send to us in a secure cloud service. We use secure communication methods to access your information using secret passwords.
If and when you ask for your personal information to be changed or deleted, we make best efforts to do so within the same week as we receive your request. When you request deletion, your information is deleted from our operational database. Your information cannot then be recalled should you change your mind. Your information will also disappear from backup copies after one month.
