Director of Engineering 5 Star Hotel Capital City
We are searching for a Director of Engineering, Arabic Speaking, based in Jordan for an established hotel which is part of a respected and successful hotel company.
This prominent city centre property requires an accomplished Director of Engineering to continue to deliver excellent standards of performance and maintenance throughout the building of 50+ floors.
You will need at least 5 years of experience at this level working within 400+ bedroom resort hotels coupled with recognised qualifications.
The key tasks will be to manage the engineering team, control all costs and budgets, take responsibility for compliance and the implementation of maintenance and engineering procedures. The Director of Engineering will also be expected to manage and oversee fire, life, health and safety procedures and policies.
This is a perfect opportunity for someone with a “pro-active” attitude to Hotel engineering and building preventative maintenance; particularly a manager who enjoys working closely with and supporting the senior management team.
Given the importance of this position, you will need to be comfortable dealing with, owners, senior management colleagues and guests on a first-hand basis. Our client is looking for an immaculate presentation coupled with a consistent work record within this field.
