Recently redesigned it has become an iconic landmark. The hotel pays homage to the country’s culture offering stunning bedrooms and suites, restaurants and bars.  Other amenities include smaller meeting rooms, a ballroom, a spa and a fitness centre.  

It now needs a sophisticated commercial leader whose skills and experience will include:

• City hotel experience
• 5*/luxury international hotel brand experience at a senior sales level
• Ideally, this will include an Asian city.  However, the client is open to those coming from other capital cities who have international work experience
• Will have worked with the corporate segment globally, understanding systems and negotiating in an increasingly competitive market.
• Ideally, will also have worked with governments/diplomatic delegations – competent in handling confidential and sensitive delegations, working closely with the relevant agencies and internally ensuring protocols and security are adhered to.  Additional knowledge of the MICE and an understanding of the regional leisure segment would be very beneficial.   
• Demonstrates agility to set strategies both short and longer term, implement them and drive business opportunities
• Excellent leadership skills – experienced at working in and with different cultures and, in this instance, managing a local team.
• Good marketing skills – able to lead the team in working within the company’s brand guidelines and be innovative in local promotions through all channels including social media. 

A competitive salary/ex-pat package will be offered, but we are inviting interested candidates to confirm their expectations at the time of application.
